Laura Clews

BSc PhD

Laura has both an Honours Degree and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Liverpool. Her PhD research concentrated on the synthesis of functionalised silicas for chromatographic columns with particular emphasis on the separation of large molecules such as proteins and DNA. She joined Mathys & Squire in 2011.

Laura has experience in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications in the UK, Europe and worldwide, particularly in the fields of ionic liquids, composite materials and oil and gas technologies.
